Tai Cheese, Anyone?

A fantastic and rarely on topic story appeared in the London Metro (Sunday, April 13, 2008) about a farmer from Devon, who practices Tai Chi in front of his cows.

Tai Chi may be as much use to animals as it is to humans

His rationale for this practice is that it relaxes them and that furthermore, they consequently produce more Milk.

Mr Taverner implies that animals and humans, or cows and humans at least, reap many of the same benefits of doing Tai Chi Quan.

This really opens up a debate about much more than just the art of Tai Chi.  It will be very interesting to see if any research comes out on this in the near future.

I'm thinking about starting a Tai Chi for pets program.  What's in no doubt is that my fridge will soon be filled with the produce of Devon.
